Inside one tablet

Everything in it is there for a reason.

Each one tackles a real laundry problem, like stains, smells or greying whites. Open any one to see how.

The moment the tablet meets water, it releases oxygen. TAED switches that oxygen on at low temperatures, so it gets right into the fibre and lifts the grey, the yellow and the build-up smells cling to, even in a cold wash.

What you’ll noticeWhites look whiter, and towels smell properly clean, not just perfumed.

Six enzymes, each one built for a different kind of mess. They break down egg, blood and sweat, food and starch, grease and body oils, and sauces and ice cream. One gently smooths cotton fibres, and one breaks up the sticky film that holds on to smells. All of it works at 20°C.

What you’ll noticeFood and sweat marks come out in your usual quick, cold wash.

It loosens dirt from the fabric and holds it in the water, so it rinses away instead of landing back on your clothes.

What you’ll noticeGrubby collars and everyday grime, gone.

Friendly bacteria that sit asleep in the tablet until they meet water. Then they help break down the leftover residue that smells feed on, so the fresh feeling lasts longer.

What you’ll noticeTowels and gym kit that stay fresher for longer after washing.

Hard water is full of minerals that soak up cleaning power. Softeners lock those minerals away, so the rest of the tablet works on your clothes, not on limescale.

What you’ll noticeA proper clean, even if your kettle is furred up.

Made from plant cellulose, it keeps loosened dirt floating in the water until it drains away. That stops whites slowly turning grey over months of washing.

What you’ll noticeWhites that stay white, wash after wash.

When water hits the tablet, these two react and fizz, breaking it apart so everything spreads through the drum and dissolves fully, even on a cold 20-minute cycle.

What you’ll noticeNothing left in the drum, the seal or the folds of your clothes.

A light, line-dried scent: fresh citrus, soft florals and clean musk. Dosed to smell like clean washing, not perfume.

What you’ll noticeWashing that still smells fresh when it’s dried indoors on the airer.

These make the powder into a firm tablet that keeps its shape until it hits the water. They help the tablet press properly and keep every dose the same size.

What you’ll noticeNo crumbs in the tin, and the same clean result every wash.
Why it's a tablet

Active oxygen can't live in a liquid. So we pressed it into a tablet.

Active oxygen is what lifts greying, yellowing and stale smells. But it breaks down once it's mixed with water, which is why you won't find it in most liquids and pods. In a dry tablet, it stays strong right up until it hits your wash. And with no plastic film, there's nothing left behind.

  1. Step 1

    Drop it in

One tablet in the empty drum, clothes on top. No measuring. Use two for a big or very dirty load.

  2. Step 2

    It fizzes apart

The second it touches water, it fizzes apart and starts cleaning straight away.

  3. Step 3

Oxygen and enzymes get to work

They break up set-in dirt and smells trapped deep in the fibres. Cleaned right at the root.

  4. Step 4

    Everything rinses away

No film, no bits, nothing left in the seal. Just clean, fresh washing.

What we left out

What you won't find in it.

Knowing what's not in there matters just as much.

Oxygen does the brightening, so there's no harsh chlorine on your colours and no swimming-pool smell on your clothes.

Pods are wrapped in a film that doesn't always dissolve in a cold, quick wash. Ours has no wrapper, so there's nothing to gunk up the seal or leave marks on dark clothes.

Tiny plastic particles from some detergents wash down the drain and end up in rivers and seas. There are none in ours.

Phosphates feed the algae that choke rivers and lakes. There are none in our tablet.

They coat fabric so whites look brighter without being any cleaner, and they can dull colours over time. We get whites bright by actually cleaning them.

These harsh foaming agents can dry out and irritate skin. We clean without them.

Liquids need preservatives like MIT to stop them going off, and MIT is a common cause of skin allergies. A dry tablet has no water in it, so it doesn't need them.

Lots of detergents add colour just to look nice, and dyes can bother sensitive skin. They don't help clean anything, so we leave them out.

A by-product of some cleaning agents, linked to health concerns. We don't use the ingredients that create it.

FAQ

Your questions, answered straight.

Including where it isn't the right fit.

Is a bio tablet OK for sensitive skin?

It's been skin-irritation tested by an independent lab. There are no harsh preservatives and no added dyes, two of the most common triggers, and the enzymes rinse away with the water.

If someone at home has a skin condition or a known allergy, have a look at the full ingredient list first, and check with your GP or pharmacist if you're unsure.

Will it fade my colours or darks?

It's made to be kind to colours. There's no chlorine bleach and no optical brighteners, which are the usual culprits. As with any detergent, check the care label first, and wash anything that says "do not bleach" separately.

Will it really work in a cold, quick wash?

That's what it's built for. The oxygen and enzymes are made to work at 20°C, so your usual quick, cold wash comes out properly clean. No need for a hot wash or a long cycle.

Will it leave white marks or gunk in my machine?

No. There's no plastic film to get stuck, and the tablet fizzes apart as soon as it meets water. Pop it in the empty drum, not the drawer, with your clothes on top.

Why can't I use it on wool or silk?

Wool and silk are made of protein, and some of our enzymes are built to break protein down. That's brilliant on egg, blood and sweat, but not what you want on your favourite jumper. Use a wool or delicates detergent for those.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Treat it like any laundry detergent. Keep the tin closed and out of reach, don't let tablets get wet in your hands, and keep it away from eyes. Full safety information is on the pack.
